Lumine Dermatology & Laser Clinic founder Dr Evelyn Tay is a Consultant Dermatologist accredited by MOH with over 15 years' experience. She is a specialist in Mohs surgery, skin cancer treatment, aesthetics and laser therapy, and treats eczema, acne, psoriasis and other difficult skin conditions with personal touch and a holistic approach.
Dr Evelyn Tay specialises in advanced surgical dermatology, skin infections, laser treatments, vascular anomalies and Mohs micrographic surgery, a leading technique for treating complex skin cancers. She has extensive experience in cancer screening and treatment, providing patients with safe and effective options tailored to their condition.
Her expertise extends to aesthetic dermatology and advanced laser procedures, as well as the management of chronic skin diseases including atopic dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, urticaria, alopecia, and skin disorders in children. For patients with severe inflammatory conditions, she is experienced in prescribing biologic therapies when standard treatments are not sufficient.
Dr Tay’s practice brings together medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. As a skin specialist, he also has interest in minimally invasive aesthetic procedures. With an emphasis on personalised care and patient education, she ensures every treatment plan supports both skin health and overall well-being.
Dr Evelyn was awarded as the top student in Dermatology in her cohort during her undergraduate studies. She has authored over 30 publications in esteemed international medical journals and is a peer reviewer for journals including the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery.
Her academic role includes serving as a clinical lecturer for the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in the field of research. She has previously won grants to advance the field of skin ageing (2016) and holds a patent for a novel skin biopsy device undergoing commercialisation (2020).
Dr Evelyn is also a key opinion leader for the MOXI laser (Sciton®) and is a trainer for the Dermatological Society of Singapore’s Certicificate of Competency (COC) course for botox and filler injections.
