Dr Evelyn Tay, founder of Lumine Dermatology & Laser Clinic, is a Consultant Dermatologist accredited by the Ministry of Health, with 14+ years of dermatologic expertise. Dr Tay holds subspecialty training in advanced skin surgery and laser procedures, with particular proficiency in Mohs micrographic surgery, skin cancer screenings and treatments, aesthetic dermatology, and laser therapies.
Her expertise extends to managing challenging cases involving eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, urticaria, hair loss, and paediatric dermatoses. Additionally, she is adept at administering biologics to treat complex inflammatory skin conditions.

Undergraduate Training: Dr Evelyn graduated from the National University of Singapore, where she was both a Dean’s List honouree and the top student in Dermatology, earning the Dermatological Society of Singapore’s Book Prize.
Advanced Specialisation: She further honed her expertise through a five-year rigorous National Seamless Training programme in Dermatology, training at the National Skin Centre in Singapore, before qualifying as a specialist dermatologist.
Subspecialty Training: Dr Evelyn completed a highly competitive, one-year, hands-on, advanced dermatologic surgery fellowship in London at the Dermatological Surgery and Laser Unit, St John’s Institute of Dermatology, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, UK (Europe’s largest Dermatology Department). During her fellowship, she trained under the tutelage of world-renowned dermatologic surgeons and cosmetic dermatologists, including performing more than 600 cases of Mohs micrographic surgery and other complex skin/nail surgeries and lasers.
Professional Career: Prior to joining private practice, Dr Evelyn was a Consultant Dermatologist and Dermatologic Surgeon at Changi General Hospital for four years, where she was an integral part of the skin surgery team. Before setting up her own practice, Dr Evelyn was a dermatologic and Mohs surgeon at a private group practice and the anchor doctor in a premium dermatology practice.
Dr Evelyn's dedication to excellence is reflected in her receipt of the SingHealth Service Excellence Awards (2011), SingHealth Quality Service Awards (2018), and the Human Manpower Development Programme Award (2019), where she was sent overseas on a scholarship to train in advanced dermatologic surgery and lasers. Her commitment to her craft and patients is unwavering, as evidenced by her numerous awards and the trust she earns from her patients.

Having authored over 30 publications in esteemed international medical journals and serving as a consistent scientific peer reviewer, Dr. Evelyn's impact on dermatology transcends her clinical practice.
Her academic role includes serving as a clinical lecturer for the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in the field of research. She has previously won grants to advance the field of skin ageing (2016) and holds a patent for a novel skin biopsy device undergoing commercialisation (2020).
When not in the clinic, Dr Evelyn finds joy and inspiration in the arts and relishes the wonders of childhood through the eyes of her three young children.
